The Bro Teaching Community is your contact point if you are interested in teaching Bro or using Bro for modern teaching with real life hands on exercises. Bro is a powerful network monitor coming out of over two decades of academic research. A broad variety of sites of all sizes is deploying Bro today to secure their operational networks. Computer Science researchers also appreciate Bro for inspecting and analyzing network traffic. Yet, besides securing real networks and enabling research, Bro also represents a powerful tool to learn and teach principles and operation of computer networks and their security: among the many features that Bro provides, one finds plenty that can support students in their learning process, as well as teachers in explaining complex topics with hands-on examples.
With the Bro Teaching Community we aim to create a knowledge base and resource collection for educators, ranging from example curricula and slide sets to exercises for all purposes and skills levels.
Everyone who is interested in, or already involved with, a class, course, lecture, or lab that deploys Bro in some capacity, no matter if as its main subject or as a supporting tool in other contexts.
